VOLUNTEER VOUCHERS Offered At Hitching Post Farm As events get more and more entries, we organizers also get fewer and fewer volunteers. In response to this problem, Hitching Post Farm will offer “Volunteer Vouchers” which will be awarded to anyone volunteering for a half-day (usually a 4-hour commitment). The vouchers will be offered for volunteering during any of our four schooling trials, as well as during our recognized event.We will also award vouchers for volunteering before any of the actual competitions. The vouchers can be earned by parents, spouses, friends, and, of course, riders (if you are a parent, spouse, friend, child, etc., who doesn’t ride, you would assign your vouchers to the rider in your life). Volunteer Vouchers can be redeemed in the following ways: 4 Vouchers = 1 cross country schoolThe person with the most accumulated Vouchers (minimum of 10) after the last HPF competition of the season wins a season of schooling trials at HPF for the next year. We will also sponsor an end-of-season Voucher Raffle, the winner of which will be awarded a Strafford Saddlery-sponsored clinic with Eric Smiley! Volunteer Positions are listed below, and jobs will be assigned in the order they are requested. To choose a job, just click on its date! Enter your name and phone number in the email, and send it. We will be follow up by a phone call or email to confirm time slot and job. As events are run on volunteer power, signing up for a job means you are committing yourself to us for that time and we will count on you to be there. We look forward to a fun-filled eventing season with lots of sunny days, happy riders, optimistic organizers and valued VOLUNTEERS!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! |
