Kid's Horse Camp at Hitching Post Farm is for kids aged 6-12 who are interested in riding and learning about beginning horse care. The camp is 4 days, hours are 8:30 to 2:00. The day consists of some barn chores, a riding lesson, tack cleaning, a “fun” ride in the afternoon.  Please bring a lunch, shorts and sneakers in addition to riding pants, helmet and boots. We always have some time for fun, so if it’s very hot we often play with the hose and get wet! 

We offer a rustic and fun camp, with campers “camping” at the barn and enjoying the company of their horses 24/7.  We have a handful of counselors on premise to help ensure that campers are happy and comfortable.  Homemade meals are prepared in our “barn kitchen” and we are able to provide meals to accommodate anyone with food restrictions.

While cell service and wifi are available, we ask that you to please talk with your child about waiting until our day is done to make calls
